2020 has been one of those years that none of us will ever forget. It will make the history books and will provide us with stories to tell our future generation.
The year has been tragic – so many lives have been loss, the fight for racial injustice continues, political conflicts….
My hearts and prayers are with those of you who have been directly impacted…
But for some of us – this was a time of healing..
I’ve seen the stories and posts that I am sure you have all seen – my favorite was learning about the positive impacts to mother nature (see video below) and the fact that families were forced to spend more time together..
Like the rest of the world I was forced into isolation and had time to reflect and heal from things that I haven’t had time to address in the past. For the first time in about 5 years I unapologetically put my life on hold, got off social media and let all of the obligations I have created for myself go ..
And let me tell you it was something I needed more than I knew… As the age old saying goes … Sometimes we need to stop and smell the flowers ..
